Why
should I go abroad when I have everything here?
MAINLY BECAUSE YOU
CANNOT EARN IN DOLLARS IN INDIA MY FRIEND…THAT’S
WHY!!
Also because you have one life only and you need
to see a bit more of the world than remain as a frog in
a well.
There
are 3 really good reasons why you should consider going
abroad:
MONEY
– Lets’ face it. Money may not be the most important
thing in this life (yeah right!!), but it certainly is a
great thing to have to ensure you and your family lead a
comfortable and happy life. And if you can earn more money
in a shorter duration of time (without joining the mafia
of course), then WHY NOT?? The reality is that you can earn
more money in a shorter duration if you can earn in dollars
or some other currency which has a far higher exchange value
as compared to the Rupee. Would it not be nice to be fully
secure financially by the time you are 30 or even earlier?
Does that not make sense? If it does not or you are one
of those types who say ‘But money is not everything’
we seriously recommend you find the nearest monastery and
head there. But if you are a realist who understands that
the global village of today offers many career choices and
dollar earning potential, then you MUST look at going abroad
and earn a dollar salary.
QUALITY
OF LIFE
– Undoubtedly an advanced nation allows more opportunities
in quality of life by the sheer fact that the infrastructure
is better and negative factors like corruption, pollution,
etc are less compared to developing nations. The assurance
of essential services like power, water, transportation,
etc ensures the quality of life stays on an even level.
There is also a significant decrease in things that afflict
us here like bad politics, differences based on caste, creed
and religion and other issues that may cause discomfort.
DISCIPLINE,
COURTESY & PATIENCE - Living in a developed
nation also instills a certain discipline, courtesy and
patience and this can also increase the quality of life
dramatically. Let’s talk about discipline first -
We dare any one of you to drive on the roads in let’s
say London or Auckland or Chicago the way you do in Mumbai,
Delhi or any one of our cities. Driving and road discipline
is one small example only. There are many other things as
well. Being courteous to women, children and elderly; not
jumping queues and waiting patiently for your turn, littering,
etc. All this learning can eventually be used to evolve
as a better person and create a better society.
